1. PHP Developer
Job Description
We are looking for PHP Developers responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Should have minimum 1-4 years of core development experience using PHP as the scripting language.
Strong knowledge of PHP/ MySQL and Javascript is required.
Clear abilities of thinking-coding will be given priority over experience, if necessary.
Responsibilities

Proficient in Web Application Development using Core PHP

Strong knowledge of PHP with MySQL as the RDBMS

Good experience of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/jQuery, Ajax, JSON, HTML5, Bootstrap and CSS3 etc

Expertise in building and designing responsive dynamic web applications - client/server-side rendering

Expertise in building and designing a progressive web application

Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming

Knowledge of 3rd party API integration

Good experience of Apache web server

Experience with REST APIs and services

Responsibilities:

Visit academic libraries to introduce and promote our collection of journals, books, and research content sourced from various publishers.

Establish and nurture relationships with librarians and academic staff to understand their content requirements and preferences.

Collaborate with publishers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for academic content, ensuring competitive and cost-effective offerings.

Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including RFID technology, Koha library management, and D-Space digital repository solutions.

Present and demonstrate our supplementary products such as RFID, Koha library management, and D-Space to interested libraries, showcasing their benefits in enhancing library efficiency and user experience.

Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and academic library needs to proactively identify potential business opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and execute promotional campaigns targeting academic institutions.

Achieve individual and team sales targets within the designated territory.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Sales, Business etc.).

0-2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with librarians, publishers, and internal teams.
